practice

Vivek Ramaswamy, the founder of Roivant Sciences and candidate for the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate race in North Carolina, is preparing for the upcoming debate in the Republican primary with some shirtless tennis practice. In a series of tweets, he posted photos of himself playing a game of tennis without a shirt on, and stated that “Preparing my #DebateDebut with a little #FitnessFriday tennis. Gearing up for a great night and an important debate next Tuesday.”

Ramaswamy’s campaign has gained traction in the race due to his business acumen and strong connections with powerful industries in North Carolina. He is running against incumbent Sen. Thom Tillis, who has been a Republican senator for the state since 2014, and Lynda Bennett, a conservative Republican and former North Carolina state legislature.

The debate next Tuesday night will give all three candidates an opportunity to showcase their policy solutions and debate one another on their respective qualifications for the job.
