Southwest Airlines is now limiting a service that lets passengers buy a better spot in the boarding line

.

Southwest Airlines recently announced it would no longer accept Southwest EarlyBird Check-In purchases in order to limit contact between crew and passengers. The EarlyBird Check-In is a service which allows passengers to buy a better spot in the boarding line. The early entrance allows passengers to pick their seats ahead of time and to board the plane before other passengers. The airline made the decision in order to comply with social distancing guidelines and to improve safety during the coronavirus pandemic.
