Former North Dakota governor has car stolen while guest hosting radio show

On August 23, 2020, former North Dakota Governor John Hoeven had his car stolen while guest-hosting a radio show. The incident happened in Bismarck while Hoeven was appearing on a local radio show. Hoeven has served as North Dakota’s governor from 2000 to 2010 and as a U.S. Senator since 2011.

The theft reportedly took place shortly after Hoeven concluded his guest appearance on the show, and luckily it was recovered a short time later. The authorities have yet to identify a suspect and it is unclear if the thief was aware of Hoeven’s involvement in the radio show.
