When a judge in New York issued a gag order on everyone involved in a fraud case against a Trump Organization staff member, it was in response to the president’s public attacks of the staffer on social media. The judge noted that his ruling was made to protect the integrity of the judicial system, as the attacks could potentially influence the outcome of the case. The gag order prevents the Trump Organization staff member and president’s attorneys from making any public comments on the case outside of the courtroom.
