Vice President Mike Pence has expressed disappointment in President Donald Trump’s decision to skip the Iowa State Fair. He said that Trump was “missing an opportunity to highlight the agricultural accomplishments of the state of Iowa.” Pence also said “we’re missing his leadership in the state and all over the country.” Trump had previously been scheduled to attend the event, but decided against it, citing security concerns.
