Merkaz HaRav Kook, often referred to simply as Merkaz HaRav, is a Hesder Yeshiva and religious Zionist seminary in Jerusalem. It is one of the most influential and iconic institutions within the Religious Zionist community in Israel. After a deadly Hamas terror attack along the Gaza border, the Israeli military eased the restriction on access to the Merkaz, allowing students to return after several days of closure.
