The residents of Marrakech have spent the night in the streets while many others have fled the city in fear of the violence that has taken place. People can still be seen in the streets, with some trying to get to safety or waiting to see what will happen next. There are also reports of clashes between protesters and security forces in some parts of the city. People have closed their businesses and are staying inside until things have calmed down. Local security forces have been deployed to certain areas of the city to maintain peace and order.
