Kamala Harris’ campaign spokesman, Connor McDermott, did not call for defunding the police, packing the Supreme Court, and making Election Day a federal holiday. However, Harris has voiced support for some of those proposals. She has advocated for increasing investment in mental health services and community-based programs instead of relying on the police.
