Buildiro Seeks Investors on Seedrs Platform for Expansion
Buildiro, a London-based construction technology start-up, is seeking investors on the Seedrs platform to fund its expansion plans. The company, which was founded in 2018, has developed a mobile app that helps builders and tradespeople to source and purchase building materials more efficiently.
The app allows users to search for products from a range of suppliers, compare prices, and place orders directly from their mobile device. It also provides real-time stock availability information, delivery tracking, and payment processing. The company claims that its app can save builders up to 30% on their material costs and reduce the time spent on procurement by up to 50%.
Buildiro has already secured partnerships with several major building materials suppliers, including Travis Perkins, Jewson, and Selco. The company has also been working with a number of construction firms to test and refine its app, and has received positive feedback from users.
The company is now seeking to raise £500,000 on the Seedrs platform to fund its expansion plans. The funds will be used to hire additional staff, develop new features for the app, and expand the company’s marketing efforts.
Buildiro’s founder and CEO, Vasilis Kostakis, said: “We believe that our app has the potential to revolutionize the way that builders and tradespeople source and purchase building materials. We have already seen strong demand for our app from both suppliers and users, and we are confident that we can continue to grow our user base and expand our offering.”
He added: “We are excited to be launching our fundraising campaign on Seedrs, which will allow us to bring on board a community of investors who share our vision for the future of construction technology.”
Buildiro is one of several construction technology start-ups that have emerged in recent years, as the industry seeks to embrace digital innovation and improve efficiency. Other notable players in the space include Procore, PlanGrid, and Fieldwire.
Investors who back Buildiro on the Seedrs platform will receive equity in the company, as well as access to exclusive perks and rewards. The fundraising campaign is set to run until the end of August, with the company aiming to close the round shortly thereafter.
